I was dreading this dinner for two reasons. One, I was expected to get to know my half-sister. The second reason, Giovanni said he had an announcement to make. I really hope and pray that it isn't to tell us he changed his mind about Caterina. I don't think I could go on living if she did marry someone that wasn't me. The thought of her with another man made me feel angry, wanting to claim her. I gulped when Caterina made her way down the stairs.
