The war was coming sooner than any of us anticipated. I was going to take them down one by one. All the ones who put their hands on her. Salvatore and Connor were as good as dead. And, anybody else who touched her.
I tapped my foot anxiously as I waited for Caterina’s location loaded up on the screen. Giovanni received the unexpected call from her ten minutes ago. He said he would worry about Salvatore’s location, and I would worry about Caterina.
Find her location and bring her home... to me.
“Got it! She’s about twenty minutes away.” A sigh of relief escaped my lips.
Giovanni smiled and pushed me out the door, “Go. Bring her home to us.”
I slammed my foot down on the acceleration pedal as I raced down the road. All I could think about was how I would wrap my arms around her
