Part 6

Nara’s Pov

I was living my day, as usual, working, of course, it was already afternoon, I was still working in the restaurant and somehow I always thinking about jungyu.

Where is he now? is he okay? to which city did he go?

My brain was filled with those kinds of questions.

" He had my number, but why didn't he call me, or text me, at least he told me if he had arrived safely, aishhh...he makes me worry " I mumbled while looking at my phone, hoping there is a notification from him

Jungyu’s Pov

I was in the mansion, chatting with minjoo hyung because he is the only one who has free time right now, while my other hyungs are running orders from Mr.Choi

It was already night, and I was playing with my phone in the living room, I was about to text Nara but suddenly Mr.Choi came home

" Follow me, " he said

I put my phone into my pocket and followed him

he took me to his workroom

" Sit, " he said when I sat on the couch, while he sat at his desk

" You know, 2 weeks ago, there was someone who didn't complete his part of deal, it was to ravage his business rival, and thanks to me, he got what he wanted, his company got bigger, but the problem was, he did not keep his promise, he promised to give me a big reward for this, but he didn't " he explained

I nodded, I understood what he meant

" His name is Lee Beom Seok, I will send you his home address and also his company name, I've been looking for him, for these past 3 days, but he disappeared, he also didn't show up at his office or at his house, he surely knows if I'm looking for him, and I'm sure he must be hiding somewhere " he added

" Then what do you want me to do? " I asked

" Find him, and take my reward what he had promised to me if he is not cooperating, you know what to do next " he smirked

I knew the ending, to do more violence, do more dirty work

I'm was so fed up with this job, but I do not know how to get away, from such a terrible person as Mr.Choi

I got up, bowed to him and left

When I walked down the hallway, Minjoo Hyung was waiting for me on the other end

" Got the new order? " he asked then I nodded

" Need help? You can take me because I do not have anything to do, I'm free " he said

" Thank you hyung, but no need, I can do it by myself, just enjoy your free time, " I said

" Ok then, but if you need some help, just call me, " he said while patting my shoulder, I nodded

" I gotta go now, " I said

I decided to stake out his house, I parked my car 200 meters from his house, I have to be careful, I didn't want anyone to suspect me

I saw his house, and yes it looked like the house was empty, there was no car, and the lights were off

I was getting sleepy, yawning repeatedly, I've been here for almost 7 hours, but no progress has been made yet

I decided to find a hotel nearby, I needed to sleep

I checked in, got the hotel room key, and after I found my room, I ran to the bed, threw my body on the bed and just slept

At morning

I woke up, took a shower and continued stalking, today, I decided to go to his office, I saw the employees work, as usual, I asked to one of them, but they said Mr.Lee was abroad, it had already one week he did not come to the office.

I immediately told Mr.Choi about this, but he said, if Mr.Lee is still in Seoul, he is still hiding somewhere in Seoul, Mr.Choi can confirm that, because he has connections on international and local flights, he said if Mr.Lee goes abroad then the person who became Mr.Choi's right-hand man will tell him about that.

I just collected more information about Mr.Lee, I also visited restaurants, cafes, hotels and other places he frequent visits, it's already night, and I've been looking around for him, but I have not found any clue about where he was hiding

Next day

This is the 3rd day I'm looking for Mr.Lee, I decided to stake out his house again, I was in the car all day while continuing to see the circumstances around his house

Nara’s Pov

I felt lonely, 3 days had gone by, and he did not come home, neither did he call or just text me, I'm so worried

" Should I text him? " I mumbled

I took my phone and started typing

" jungyu~ are you okay, are you doing well? Just come home, don't make me worry "

I typed like that

" Ahh, this is too much " I mumbled then just deleted it

" What should I type? " I whined

Then I just started typing again

Me:

" what are you doing? wherever you are, please take care of yourself "

That's what I typed

" Ouhhhh!!!! this is a bit .. ouhh !! amused " I mumbled

Then I just deleted it again

I'm so confused, should I text him or not, I might go crazy if I just stayed still, just thinking about him without knowing that he was okay or not, but at least if I texted him, he might reply to my text, hoping that he gave me good news, so that I am not being overwhelmed by my worries

I sighed, I did not think about anything, I just let my heart take the lead, let my finger move, typed anything, according to what my heart said

Me:

" jungyu, you are okay, right? let me know if you're okay, You have my number but why don't you call or text me? do you know how much I'm worried about you?

it's already been 3 days since you left, you are still not here, and I feel lonely

jungyu yah~~ I think.....I miss you "

I did not realize what I typed and just sent it

I took a deep breath, was relieved, and a few seconds later, I realized

Jungyu’s Pov

I was drinking the coffee that I bought at the minimarket at the end of the street. Suddenly my phone vibrated, I got the text, and I opened it, I smiled instantly as I read the message, it was from Nara

" Is she really missing me? " I mumbled while smiling happily

" Should I call her then? " I said then I called her

Incall

Nara: Yahh!! Why did you call me!!

( she was so flushed by jungyu who suddenly called her )

Me: You said you missed me, that's why I called you

( he knew she was blushing, and he was so happy to tease her )

Nara: Yahh, it's not like that, it's just... it's just... ahhh... I don't know

( You were totally embarrassed )

( he was laughing after hearing her reaction )

You both just paused for a moment, the atmosphere became quite, her heart was beating fast because of it

Me: I'm fine, I'll be home soon after I'm done with my job, just wait a bit more, I'm sorry for leaving you alone at home, it's pretty late, just sleep

( he said in a such of soft and sweet tone which made her weak )

Me: And, thank you for worrying about me, good night Nara, have a good sleep, bye

The call ended

I'm so happy, this is the sweetest thing I've ever had when I heard her voice on the call, I didn't know why I just want to run to her and hug her

when I was lost in my sweet moment, then I saw a guy walk into Mr.Lee's house

" Who is he? " I asked myself

Then was just waiting while keep looking at Mr.Lee's house

30 minute later

The guy came out while carrying a suitcase

he got in the car, which was waiting for him in front of the gate

then I just followed the car

An hour later, the car stopped, the guy got out of the car and walked into the house, and I do not know whose house it was

when he reached the front door, there was someone else who opened the door, it seemed that person was waiting for him

But wait, I think I know that person who has opened the door

" I found you Lee Beom Seok " I smirked

" So, it's here you've been hiding " I chuckled

the guy gave the suitcase to Mr.Lee and just left afterward

" Okay, here I go, let's finish it, " I said,

I got out of the car, saw the circumstances around, after making sure it was safe, I walked there, climbed the wall of the fence, and entered through a window at the back of the house, which was not locked, I wore a mask, I didn't want him to see my face.

I walked sneakily, I did not make any noise, the house was so empty, it seems like only Mr.Lee is living here

I walked upstairs and found one room which was open

I walked closer to the room and saw Mr.Lee, who was busy packing his things

" Someone's trying to escape, I see, " I said

He was shocked, he glanced at me

" Who are you? What do you want? " he asked with a shaky voice

" I'm sure you know what I want, I'm here to take the reward, which should be mine, as you promised 2 weeks ago, remember? " I chuckled

" Why did you run away? why didn't you keep your promise? " I asked

" Ah, so, are you that person? but your voice is so different from the man that I met two weeks ago, did you replace him? why didn't he came by himself to me, he is such a loser " he chuckled

" I think the loser is you, who is just running away without keeping his promise, " I said

He was just laughing

" Do not talk much, do not waste my time, I'm here just to take reward you promised, which should be mine, " I said

" Just try it, take it if you can, " he said laughing

he's teasing me, I'm totally angry now

I was about to punch him, but suddenly a guy appeared, blocking me, the guy holding a knife

" s**t " I mumbled

I didn't know if Mr.Lee had a bodyguard

then I fought with the guy, punching each other, he's good, I think it will not be easy,

but I was off guard, the knife hit my stomach

" Arggh " I grimaced in pain

the guy grinned while looking at my stomach

" Bleeding already? " he grinned

I was breathless, I stood up, picked up a knife, which was thrown into the corner of the door, I walked toward Mr.Lee, he just looked at me, and trembling

I put the knife around his neck, he begged me, not to hurt him

" Just take it, I will give everything, as I promised, but please, do not kill me " he begged

he gave me a black bag

" Here, just take it, " he said with his shaky voice

" Next time, do not play me, or else, this knife will stick right in your heart, " I said, threw the knife, took the bag and left

I got in the car, I threw the bag into the back seat, I clutched my stomach, then I saw the blood smearing my hands

" s**t " I grimaced in pain

I drove, going home

At home

I went inside, walked slowly, I hope Nara was asleep, I didn't want her to see me like this, I immediately went to my room, took off my shirt, threw it into the basket, I went to the bathroom, to clean the blood, I drank antibiotics pills, I don't want to have an infection in my wound

I'm used sleep shirtless, but this time, I have to wear one, because I didn't want her to know that I was hurt, I didn't want her to see this wound, then I fell asleep

Nara’s Pov

At morning

I woke up, and I don't know why I just felt empty

" When will he come home " I sighed

I got up, I was about to go to the kitchen to make breakfast, but when I got out of my room, somehow I wanted to go to jungyu’s room

I walked there, opened his door

and my smile widened instantly, as I seeing his bed, which was no longer empty

He was there, sleeping

I walked closer to him, he was sleeping like a baby

" Welcome home jungyu " I whispered

I saw dirty clothes in the basket, then I took it

I will wash this and make breakfast for him, now just let him sleep, he looked so tired

Then I went downstairs

I put his pants into the washing machine, and I put his shirt after that, but I was shocked by what I saw, I saw red stains again around the stomach area of his shirt, but this time the stain was getting more, and I'm sure it was blood, but wait, this blood looks still fresh, my heart jumped, I'm sure he got hurt

I threw the shirt and just running to his room

I sat on the edge of his bed

" jungyu " I called his name but he did not respond

" Hey, jungyu " I held his hand

And then he moved

" Hmm, what? " he replied, his voice was husky

he took in a sitting position

" What's wrong? Why are you looking at me like that? " he said while looking into my eyes

I did not answer, I just gripped his shirt and wanted to pull it up

" Yah, what are you doing? " he stopped me

I ignored him, and just took out all my strength, and pulled his shirt up

And yeah, this time I was right, he got a wound in his stomach

" What time did you get home last night? why didn't you tell me you got hurt? " I said, looking into his eyes waiting for an answer

" Wait here, " I said then went to my room to take the first aid kit

I went back to jungyu’s room and took care of his wound

I applied an antiseptic and applied a salve to his wound

" Does it hurt right? how did you get this " I asked

" it just an accident " he replied

and lastly, I put on a bandage

" Okay done, just stay here, I'll make a breakfast for you, " I said then walking away

But suddenly he held my hands

" What? " I turned around to face him

" Thanks, " he said

" No problem " I smiled then left

I'm sure, he was hiding something from me, but I did not want to force him to tell everything to me

I'll wait until he's ready to tell them all honestly.
