Part 2

Kim Nara’s Past

I live in Busan, even though i’m not born from a rich family, but i’m very happy, have a cheerful father, who always makes me laugh with his jokes

and my tender mother, she's an angel, she never mad at me even once

I’m so happy to have a great parents, have a happy family, until my parent got a car accident which has taken my mother's life

My father was survived, but he was badly injured on his feet, so now, he's paralyzed

after that incident, i decided to move to Seoul

to earned money

I needed a lot of money to support my family, for my father's medical treatment, and that needed a lot of cost

My house was already on sale, for my father medical treatment, and now, he stayed at my grandma's house

by necessity, inevitably, i have to leave him with grandma, i have to find a job

At Seoul

This is the first time i come to Seoul, i do not know this city, and i’m confused, didn't know where to go, not even anyone i know

I just sit in the waiting room of the train station, i looked around, try to recognize this city, and finally i decide to look for an apartment first, hoping i can find a simple but comfortable apartment and definitely with the cheap rent, since i do not have much money

I just walked down the street, i just saw there was a lot of skyscrapers, and it made my mood turned bad instantly

" is it possible for me to find an apartment that fit to my pocket? " i sighed

I stopped for a while, catching a breath

it's almost an hour i’ve been walking, my legs are pretty sore, and my stomach is screaming

" ahhh, i'm hungry " i sighed while stroking my stomach

Then i see a restaurant located not far from where i am now

I walk towards there, when i reach it, i’m about to open the door but i froze, i see the ad stuck to the door, then i read it

" required immediately a waiters "

a smile broadens on my lips shortly after i read it then i open the door eagerly

" welcome "

a girl greets me with a bright smile

She looks young, maybe she's in the same generation as me

" may i help you? " she asked as she come to me

" this is the menu " she said while giving me the menu

And then you ordered a noodles with black bean paste

" anything else? " she asked

" just it, thanks " i replied

" please wait, I will bring your order soon " she said and went off

15 minutes later

She comes back with my order

" here, enjoy " she said

She put the dish on the table

" i'm sorry, can i asked something? " i said before she left

" sure " she replied

" I just saw an ad at the door, does this restaurant need a waiter? " i asked

hoping if the recruitment are still available

" oh yes, are you interested? " she asked with a bright smile

" yes, i need a job " i replied

" that's good, okay just finish your meal, and then i'll take you to meet the owner afterwards " she said and left, i just nodded

after i finish eating, the girl comes to me

" you finish? " she asked

i just nodded rather than answer her question

" come on, follow me " she said

And then i just followed her from behind

" get in " she said as we reached the door of the owner work space

i took a deep breath, and then knocked on the door

" get in " i heard a woman voice inside, i turned the door knob, and the door was opened

" hey, good luck " the girls said before i entered the room

I smiling at each other then i stepped inside

I bend down, try to be polite, she smiles at me while inviting me as i get inside her room

" just take a seat, do not be nervous, just make yourself comfortable " she said with a such soft voice

And then i start chatting, she asks your name, where do you live, and how old i am

I just answer her question with confidence, besides that i also tell her if i’m good at cooking, i take the chance to tell her about my skill in cooking

Hoping the chance to work here will be more easy for me

" okay, you can start working tomorrow " she said

your eyes widen, blinking repeatedly

" r-really? " you asked

I’m stammered, could not believe with what i just heard

She just nodded while smiling

" oh my god, thank you, thank you so much " i said excitedly, i’m so happy now

" i'm promise, i'll do my best " i said

" good, then see you tomorrow, you can go now " she said

i stood up, bending over and over again while thanking her, and went outside

when i get out of the room, i find the girl standing not far from me, she is waiting for me

" how " she asked as she saw me came out

" i made it, I'll start working tomorrow " i replied with a wide smile

" congrats for you " she said, while clapping

" thank you " i replied

" by the way, i'm Yuri, Gwon Yuri, nice to meet you " she held out her hand

" i'm Kim Nara, nice to meet you too " i took her hand and shook it

" so are you going to go home now? Where do you live? " she asked

" actually, I just came to Seoul today, and I have not found a place to live, maybe I'll going to look for it now " i replied

" if you do not mind, you can stay with me, we can share the rooms, my apartment is not big, but at least comfortable " she said

" really? Can i? " you asked

" sure, why not " she said

" thank you so much " i said while holding her hands

" no problem, okay, my shift will end in 15 minutes, now just took a seat and wait for me, we can go home afterwards " she said and left

i just sat in the one of the chairs and waiting for her

15 minutes later

" let's go " she said as she reached me

I nodded and went off the restaurant

after approximately 30 minutes i’ve been walking, then i arrive

" my room was at the top floor, since it was having the cheapest rent " she said as we enter in the apartment area

Then we both went to the elevator to reached the room

After we reached the top floor, we got out of the elevator and took a few steps to the right side then we reached the door of her room

She pressed the digital code and the door was opened

" get in, my room was not big enough, but comfortable, i hope you like it " she said and then i get inside the room

the first time i enter the room, i’ve liked it, she's right, the room is not big enough, but very comfortable and clean

And then we live together, day by day, we get closer, she was so kind and understand me well

A years later

I’m working, washing the dirty dishes, while yuri is preparing a dish that has been ordered by customer

" Nara, my mom is calling, so, can you bring this to table 9? customer is waiting " she said

" sure, just picked up the call, i'll handle this " i replied while taking the rubber gloves from my hands

And then i went to the table 9 while carrying the dish and just went back to the kitchen afterwards

When i entered the kitchen, i saw yuri who was taking off her apron in a hurry, and her expression was sad

" yuri-ah~~ what's wrong " i asked as i walking closer to her

" i'm sorry Nara,i have to go home to Ilsan, you know my dad's condition is not good, he's sick, and my mom is having trouble, because she have to take care of my dad and also our restaurant family as well, she need my help " she sighed

i could see a tears from her eyes

I’m sad too, to find that she has to leave, we have been living with her for a years, and now she was going to leave

" are you going to go? already? " i asked in a voice that was about to cry

" yes, i have to reached Ilsan before night " she said, and the tears dripping on her cheeks

" okay, then when will you come back to Seoul " i voice was shaky, i try not to cry and it's so hard

" i don't know.... maybe, i will never come back " she said, and her tears was flowing even more

" but don't worry, i'll give my address to you " she added while wiping the tears

i can not hold it anymore, i hug her tightly and just burst into tears

" i will miss you so much " i cried on her shoulder

" me too, promise me, you will visit me someday " she said between her tears while stroking my back and i just nodded

She broke the hug, placing her hand on my upper arms

" stay in touch okay? I have to go now, take care of your self " she said and hugging me for the last time

" you too " i replied

" good bye " she said as she broke the hug and went to say good-bye to her aunt who was also the owner of this restaurant

And i just go back to work

3 hours later

my shift is over and i’m ready to go home

At home

I get inside, and see yuri's stuff are already gone, this room was empty for me, this has not been 4 hours yuri has left, but i feel lonely already, and miss her already

I slumped on the floor, there is one thing that burdened me

Since yuri left, then inevitably, i have to pay the entire room rent by myself,

I just thinking about my daily expenses, my father's medical treatment, the room rent, i know very well, my salary will not be enough to cover it all

and finally it just flashed in my head

" i have to find more job " i sighed

2 weeks later

i’m so stressed out, because i have to pay for room rent this week, otherwise i’ll be kicked out, and i have not got a job other than being a waiters

after my work is done in the restaurant, i go home in a hurry, i take a shower and get dressed, wearing skinny jeans and v-neck shirt then i just going out, hoping tonight i can find a job

after a few hours i have been searching, went to the mini market and the clothes store asked for a job but to no avail, this is already 10 o'clock at night, and i almost desperate, i sit on the curb, resting my legs that start to feel sore

I see a club on my left side, and for some reason, my feet are moved there by itself

and my smile expands instantly as i reached the door

the first word i see is "required"

i just go straight into the club without even reading it till the end

" i'm looking for a job " i said as i saw a security inside

" follow me " he replied then lead me to the second floor

he took me to a room at the second floor, he knocked on the door and opened it

I saw a man with a dandy look sitting at his desk

" she looking for a job " the security said

the man just simply waved his hand, signaling the security to leave

" i'm looking for a job, is it still available? " i asked

instead of answering my question, he just crossed his arms and looked at me from head to toe

I’m confused, i just asking yourself, is there something wrong with my appearance?

" come here tomorrow at 11 pm, and you can work right away " he said

i just stunned

" what? tomorrow? Working? Here? " I asked myself

" I have been accepted? just like that? " i talk to myself

" You can go now " he said

" t-thank you " i replied, bowed and leave

" wait " he said before i get out of his room

" what's your name? " he asked

" Kim Nara" i replied

" ok Nara, see you tomorrow then " he said

Then i just leave the room

when i’m outside, i put my hand on my chest, i’m shocked and also happy at the same time

suddenly i want to pee, so i just looking for the restroom before i go home

I sighed before i get inside the woman's room, i still can not believe, that i will start working here tomorrow

And then i didn't not know what's going on, but i feel someone touching my butt, even squeezing it

" such a nice butt " i heard a man voice, he whispered in my ear

I’m very angry now, i turned my body to facing him, intend to slapped him, but i have not time, he just pulled me, my body stuck to him and he dragged me into the men's room

Jungyu’s pov

I was at the night clubs, and i was looking for someone, that surely it was an order from Mr.Choi

I looked around, almost an hour i was inside the club, but did not find that person, i decided to look him up to the whole club area

when i entered the restroom area, i grinned by what i saw

" are they going to have s*x in the toilets? " i said with a disgust look

" disgusting, do they not have a better place besides the toilets? " i was troubled by what i saw

I was about to leave the toilets area but then i heard something, like a sound of clash and i have a bad feeling for it, there must be something wrong inside there

Then i just ran towards the men's room

I opened the door, and i just stunned, i saw a girls who was being harassed, she's mouth is covered by the man's hand, while he was busy rubbing his member in her ass

I saw her shirt that had been ripped

" let her go " i said

She was looking at me, as if asking me to help her

" go away, this is none of your business " the man said

I was so angry now, i can't stay still

" i said let her go " i said and landed my fist on his face, he fell on the floor

" let's get out of here " i said then dragged her to the outside

" thank you " she said as we were outside

She just looked down, her body was trembling as well as her voice

her hands clutching at her ripped shirt, trying to cover her open shoulders

" are you okay? " i asked

She just nodded in a fast motion, and then I heard her sob, she cried

I understand her feelings, she must have been terrified

Nara’s Pov

finally I burst into tears, I was very scared, but fortunately this guy helped me, he came at the right time

" cover that " he said, then gave me his jacket

I stopped crying, and just looked into his eyes

His expression is so cold, but I'm sure he is a good person

And then he just left

I looked at his back getting farther and farther away, and then disappeared

I sighed, I haven't even asked his name, and I regret it

" whoever you are, thank you for helping me " i said

I wish I could meet him again one day, and when that day comes, I will repay his kindness
