Today is the Day.

I woke up extra early to make sure I had a bag packed. Selena has been extra giddy today. Well if you wanted your mate you would be too Jade. I have a feeling we will find them whether we leave or not today. I have this feeling he is near. Well then we better hurry and get the move on isn't that right Selena. Oh fine if we are gonna go let's go because if I find my mate I swear to you we are not leaving. Lets go. I dropped the bag out of my window so I can just grab it and no one will see. Now the hard part is getting mom to let me out of the house today. Hey mooommm I want to go to the library I'll be back in an hour. Absolutely not we have to do so many things to get you ready today the library can wait till another day. Mom you don't understand my library books are due back today. Jade seriously you are the daughter of the alpha and it is the day of your ball I'm sure they will understand just this once. You have never been late before surely this can be an exception just this once. Mom you know how I feel about the title I don't want it to affect my life too much I just want to do what I am supposed to and be normal. Please let me go. Okay, Jade I'm going to call the library. To see if you can have a one day extension if not then you can take it back today if you hurry. Oh today of all days Grace please say someone else needs the book please! You see Grace is the librarian she is only a couple years older than me and we get along really well. She is actually one of my best friends she doesn't know about my plan today but she does know that I don't necessarily want to find my mate she is the only one who knows. She hadn't found her mate yet she's hoping to find him tonight at the ball. Jade I called and Grace said tomorrow is fine no one has the book on the wait-list so you're good.
