Chapter 32 Returned I huffed, sitting down in the mushroom chair near my window. From my perch, I could look out over the Daniels backyard. It was just barely raining, not enough to go inside, but just enough to keep me away from Trent and Luke's tackle football game. Well that, and the fact that I hadn’t talked to Trent since Hawaii. I mean, we had exchanged a few words on the plane home, and in the two weeks we’d been back, but they were mainly 'hey' and 'how're you' so our parents wouldn't get suspicious. Things had just been awkward. I was waiting for him to talk to me, but maybe he was just as confused as I was. There wasn't a word to describe what I felt.
