Making it downstairs without my parents hearing us was such a relief. Seeing as they were next door, I was certain they were going to hear us sneaking off. But, neither of my parents had ever had great hearing, so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that we weren't busted.
Getting a cab, on the other hand, proved to be a much harder task. We asked the nice lady at the front desk to call us one, and when she did, they informed us that it would be at least an hour before they could get someone to the hotel.
"Great," I sighed, flopping down on a sofa. It was really comfortable, actually. Comfortable enough to make me re-think my party plan. "We could walk faster than this!"
