Chapter 26 Holden Honestly, by this point, I should've been smart enough to just keep walking. I should've walked away and never looked back. Hell, I should've run until I passed out. But no, I'm Addison Knight, and I never listen to my gut instinct. Instead, I slowly turned on my heel towards the sound of his voice. I guess in a way I was just trying to make sure I thought correctly. There was something in the human mind that made us all strive to be correct, and there is a certain curiosity that lights up when we're not one hundred percent sure our thoughts or statements are accurate.
