Chapter sixty: Space And Privacy

"D…did I do something wrong?" I asked but he sat on a chair beside the bed and I was sitting on the bed. He said nothing, it was as if he was avoiding me.
"You did nothing wrong, I just…..I just wanted you to stay in your own Quarters." He replied and for some reason my mind refused to process anything other than him not wanting me to be around him anymore.
This feeling of abandonment that I once felt came creeping back in me and I just got caught up in it when I remembered my father's harsh words all over again.
"Stay away from us you evil girl!" Those were my father's words and they echoed in my head.
"Don't come near our children, you evil child!" Those were also my villager's words and they echoed in my ears.
