Moonlight is born

"Mom...mom I'm in pain"Valerie's water broke at 3am.

Her mother rushed to her room and helped her to the car she sent her to the hospital nearby,the nurses took her to the delivery ward,Luna called Fernanda to come to the hospital immediately cause Valerie needed her,within a few minutes later Fernanda arrived panicking,she went to delivery room with Luna,they both held her hands, Fernanda said"Valerie,you can do this, I'm not leaving your side"Valerie smiled.

For 14 hours Valerie pushed. She was only 16. Screaming, crying, holding her mother's hand and her besties hand

Then at 5:17pm, a cry filled the room.

It was a girl.

The midwife placed her on Valerie's chest. She was tiny, with a full head of curly black hair. Exactly like Kyle's,she was very beautiful.

Valerie stared at her and all the pain disappeared.

"What's her name?" her mother asked softly,Valerie looked out the window. The night was dark, but one bright moon was shining.

"Moonlight," Valerie whispered. "Her name is Moonlight. Because she came when my life was darkest."Fernanda held the baby and said "I'll be the most happiest aunt in the world"

While other 16-year-old girls were doing homework and going to parties, Valerie learned how to be a mother. How to breastfeed at 3am. How to study with a baby crying. How to not sleep.

Six months later, Valerie did something no one expected.

She walked back to her principal's office.

"Sir, I want to finish school. I will study at night."

The principal looked at the her, . He saw fire in her.

"Okay," he said. "But you have to prove it."

Valerie studied every night from 9pm to 2am after Moonlight fell asleep, with no sleep, with everyone saying she would fail.

She passed with straight A's.

That result was the beginning of her life, she was going to be a CEO at 22.

And Kyle who left her?

He was about to become famous in the biggest boy band in the world,He has forgotten about Valerie.
