Two weeks later,

After that night in the hallway where Moonlight made them hug, everything changed. Valerie didn't say "I forgive you." She said "We will try." And Kyle Fernandez, the billionaire producer, kept his word. For 14 nights, he slept on the floor next to Valerie's bed on a blanket and pillow, because Valerie said: "You can stay in my room if Moonlight has nightmares, but you sleep on the floor ." He never complained. His back hurt, but he smiled in his sleep every night. The 6 boys of SEVEN7 were shocked. CEO Valerie Rivera who never let a man stay 1 minute in her office now had a man sleeping outside her bed. This morning, Moonlight woke up first. She saw Daddy on the floor and Mommy on the bed. She climbed off the bed and lay on top of Kyle like a cat. "Daddy! Family day! You promised park!" Kyle woke up laughing, hugging her tight. "We need Mommy to say yes, Princess." Valerie woke up, looked down at them, hair messy, and sighed. A soft sigh. Not cold CEO sigh. "Fine. Park. But private park. No fans. No one recognizes us. We take our own cars." Moonlight screamed "YAY! FAMILY DAY!" --- The whole park was booked. No public. No crowd. No screaming fans. Just family. 3 black G-Wagons parked outside with their own drivers, security standing far away. Rich. Private. Valerie wore a simple white dress, no makeup, ponytail. Kyle wore white t-shirt and jeans. Moonlight wore yellow dress, holding Mommy's left hand and Daddy's right hand. SEVEN7 boys — Ian , Leonard and the rest— in normal hoodies, no stage makeup, just big brothers playing soccer and fighting over cotton candy from their own cooler. For 1 hour, it was perfect. The happiest hour in 6 years. Moonlight on the swing, Kyle pushing her high, Valerie filming and laughing — real laugh, not CEO laugh. "Mommy! Higher! Higher!" But Leonard noticed something and whispered to Ian: "Hyung... CEO looks pale." Valerie was pale all morning. She didn't eat breakfast. She said "I have a headache" and took painkillers and said "I'm fine." For 2 weeks she worked till 3AM, no sleep, stressed about Kyle, about Moonlight, about everything. She stood up to get Moonlight's water bottle from the bench. One step. Two steps. Her head spun. Everything went white. "Kyle..." she whispered very softly. Kyle turned. He saw her face — white as paper. Her eyes rolled back. She collapsed on the grass. "VALERIE!" Kyle screamed and ran, catching her before her head hit the ground. He was on his knees, her unconscious in his arms. "MOMMY!" Moonlight screamed, jumping off the swing, crying. All 6 boys ran over, faces white. "Val! Val!" Ian knelt, panicking. "She's burning! She has fever!" Leonard touched her forehead. Kyle was shaking, tapping her cold cheek. "Valerie? Baby? Please open your eyes! Please!" No answer. Weak breathing. Kyle picked her up bridal style and RAN to the cars. "OPEN THE CAR! OPEN THE CAR NOW!" he shouted at his driver. Driver opened the back door of the first black G-Wagon. Kyle jumped in the back with Valerie on his lap. Moonlight jumped in crying, holding her Mommy's hand. Ian and Leonard jumped in front. "DRIVE! PRIVATE HOSPITAL! FASTEST! RUN THE RED LIGHTS! GO!" Kyle shouted, tears falling on Valerie's face. The other two G-Wagons followed behind with the other 4 boys. 3 G-Wagons speeding through Seoul. Inside, Kyle kissed Valerie's forehead, whispering, "Please don't scare me... I can't leave without you again... please..." --- The G-Wagons screeched into the emergency entrance. Kyle ran inside carrying Valerie, Moonlight holding his shirt and sobbing, 6 boys running behind. "DOCTOR! PLEASE HELP HER!" Kyle screamed. Nurses rushed with a stretcher and took Valerie. "Sir, wait outside." "No! I'm her husband!" Kyle shouted, but they closed the door. For 30 minutes, hallway silent except Moonlight crying on Ian's chest. Kyle paced, hands in his hair, praying. Then doctor came out smiling with a file. "Family of Valerie Rivera?" Kyle ran. "How is she? Is she okay?" "She's okay. Exhaustion, no sleep, low blood sugar, stress. She needs rest. But... congratulations." Kyle froze. "Congratulations?" "Your wife is pregnant. About 2-3 weeks. That's also why she fainted." Silence. DEAD silence. Ian dropped the water bottle. Rhyce whispered "What?" 2-3 weeks. That night. That night two weeks ago when she was drunk. Moonlight tugged Ian's coat. "Daddy Ian, is Mommy having a baby?" Ian knelt. "Yes, little princess. You're going to be a big sister." Moonlight screamed through tears: "I'M GOING TO BE A BIG SISTER!" Inside, Valerie had woken up and heard everything through the door. She touched her stomach with shaking hand, tears falling. Pregnant. Again. With Kyle's baby. Again.No.. this can't be happening. 6 years ago she was alone, scared, dropped out, raised Moonlight alone. This time she heard Kyle crying outside saying "Thank you..." The door opened. Moonlight ran in first: "Mommy! Baby!" Kyle walked in, dropped to his knees beside her bed, put his head on her stomach and sobbed like a child, holding her hand so tight. "Thank you, Valerie... thank you for giving me another baby... thank you for not leaving me again..." Valerie cried too, one hand on Moonlight's head, one hand in Kyle's hair, her cold CEO mask completely broken. She was pregnant again. *[END OF CHAPTER 12]
