He Left

The next 7 days were the longest life of Valerie's life,she avoided everyone she didn't go to school,she told her mother she was sick.

On the 8th day,her best friend Fernanda came running to her house,out of breath.

"Valerie!Kyle is gone,he left yesterday with his parents,he left for South Korea.

"Don't worry Fernanda,I don't care anymore,I knew he would leave I'll take care of this baby alone that's a promise"Valerie said.Fernanda hugged her tightly,"I can't wait to see that little star"they both laughed.

That night Valerie told her mother everything,her mother was shocked,she slapped her and shouted at her "you are a disgrace Valerie,I'm so disappointed in you,I taught you were the one who will bring honour upon this family"Luna said.She stormed of the room angrily,Valerie cried her eyes out,she sat there quietly thinking about the baby and her future she said to herself"Even if the world deny you baby,I mommy will never leave you,I love you".

One hour later,her mother came to her room,she sat on her bed and held her hands,she said"Valerie, mommy is very sorry for shouting at you, mommy loves you and no matter what I'm not leaving you,"we will keep this baby".her mother said."You are not alone we will figure this out".She hugged her mom and said "I love you mommy".

Because of stress and morning sickness,Valerie dropped out of high school,but she did not drop her baby.She had her mother,her bestie and the baby,she started working with her mother _selling online,doing small jobs, anything to make money so her baby wouldn't luck anything.Every dollar she got,she saved in a small box under her bed for the baby.

She worked from morning to night,her mother and Fernanda told her to rest but she never gave up,her back hurt,her feet swelled But everday the baby kicked,she smiled and got her hopes up.

"I have you,I love you "she whispered to her stomach ,"And you have me your mommy,I'll love you no matter what."That's enough.
