Six Years Later

Six years later, Valerie Rivera was unrecognizable.

The 16year old girl who cried because of her loved one was gone.

Now she was 22. A billionaire.

CEO of not one, but EIGHT companies. Beauty, fashion, tech. Her main empire was in *South Korea* — she moved there 2 years ago to expand. Everyone in Seoul knew her name.

Valerie was rich, cold, and beautiful. She never dated. Until now.

In Seoul, Luna had one real friend,Ian

Ian was kind, funny, and in a famous K-pop boyband. He always brought snacks for Moonlight. He always stayed when Valerie cried at night about work. He always listened.

And slowly, for the first time in 6 years, Valerie began to have feelings for him.

It wasn't love yet. But it was close. Her heart beat fast when he called her "Val."

Moonlight really, really loved Ian. She called him "Dad " and made him dance with her every day.

One afternoon, Ian called.

"Val! Come to our dorm! Bring Little Moon! My band mates want to meet you."

Valerie hesitated but Ian begged her and she agreed. She wore her best black dress. Moonlight wore a yellow dress .

Few minutes later,they arrived at the dorm.

Ian's dorm was huge,coulurful and beautiful,music was playing. Six boys were laughing.

"Guys! This is Valerie and Moonlight!" Ian shouted.

Valerie smiled and counted them, looking for Ian. One, two, three, four, five, six...

The last person was on the couch. A guy sitting with a pretty lady, kissing her.

Valerie didn't take it serious. She just thought,it was just a member of the band and his girlfriend._

Until the guy stopped kissing and turned his head.

Curly black hair. Big brown eyes. The exact same eyes as Moonlight.

The same face she had seen every day for 6 years in her daughter's face.

*Kyle Fernandez.*

Kyle looked up. His eyes met Valerie's. His lips were still swollen from kissing another girl.

Moonlight, who was holding Ian's hand, tilted her head and looked at the guy on the couch.

Then she shouted loudly in front of everyone:

"Mommy, who's this guy? He looks just like me!"

Kyle looked at the small cute girl holding Ian's hand he saw the resemblance.

Valerie stood frozen,as if the world has come to an end,she couldn't speak,she looked at Kyle and then moonlight.

She held Moonlight and said.

"Little Moon,there are many people in this world who look alike,so don't think about it".

Moonlight noded and went back to Ian.

Kyle stared at Valerie but she ignored the eye contact,she felt uncomfortable because she never expected this day to arrive,where he will see the guy who once promised her the world but rejected her and the baby.

She was very angry and told Ian she wanted to leave,but Moonlight said "Momma we just came here,and I don't want to leave Daddy Ian,I want to stay with him".

Kyle was shocked,he said in his mind"Did she just call him Daddy"he froze.

Valerie told Ian to keep an eye on Moonlight cause she has a meeting to attend in her company.

As she kissed Moonlight and was about to leave , a hand held her back she turned and to her worst nightmare it was Kyle,memories of the past came running through her mind,the pain and the reject ,she stood there quietly everyone was watching confused,"let go of my hand"she said.

"Is..is Moonlight my daughter",he asked.

Valerie couldn't control herself she pushed Kyle and whispered in his ears"Remember you don't have any daughter,and I don't even know you,so stay away from me and my child .

She told Moonlight to stay with Ian, and left.

All the band members where confused,Kyle stood there with his eyes full of regrets,tears filled his eyes he remembered the painful words he told Valerie he kneeled on the ground crying,everyone stared at him confused,no one went close to him they all stood there quietly,cause they have never seen Kyle in this situation.

Will Valerie forgive Kyle and tell Moonlight he is her dad?

Or will she keep it a secret from the little girl?
