It was late at night and already 9 pm. Brian didn't realize the company had been deserted by the employees. Even Mia was nowhere to be found. Everyone has gone their separate ways to enjoy the rest of the night. His hand rubbed against his cheeks and all of a sudden, he noticed the pain had disappeared and his swollen cheek had gone back to normal.
A deep sigh escaped his lips. “What a relief,” he said with his lips curled up. “I guess I have to get going now before it gets darker than this. I suppose Mother will be sleeping now, so I don't have to worry about anything. No more nagging the moment I step inside the mansion.”
He stood up from his office seat and suddenly, his cell phone buzzed in his pocket. Out of curiosity, he fished out his cell phone and glanced at the caller ID
