With all his handwork to separate them, Brian still found his way to talk to her. It wasn't easy to bug her cellphone. Tristan took the risk of doing that to Mia without getting noticed. Seeing Brian's message reflecting on his phone screen wasn't pleasing.
Another notification came in and Tristan had a glimpse with his face still scrunched.
Mia: Check with the doctor, Brian. I'm sure you will be fine. It's not that deep. I have an obligation to take care of my employees and that is exactly what I did with you. Next time, stay away from trouble because I might not be there to save you.
Brian: Thanks for everything, Mia. And again, thanks for unblocking my number. I will see you around the office.
