“GET UP!”
Storm was panicked, it was Chase’s father and they stood up, ’
“YOU DON’T WALK AWAY FROM ME!”
His father lunged at him, Chase was knocked to the ground and she could see that he was winded, his father came at him again and hit him.
Chase was not trying to fight back but instead, he was taking the blows and she was panicking, this was not going to work.
“Please stop.” She was worried when she saw blood on his lips and he was getting up all the time. When his father lunged again, she jumped and stood in front of Chase.
His father hit her so hard that she hit a tree and her head was throbbing, Chase was next to her in a flash, “My love, are you okay.”
She nodded,
“Why would you do that?”
“I can’t bear to see him hit you any longer.”
