When he was done, everyone clapped and the mingling began, Storm, Meghan, and Paige all had made a pact that they would go for it.
She had her eyes on Brian, and she saw Meghan and Paige had already gone to the guys they were interested in and she stood there.
They motioned for her to go for it, how was going to do this? Brian's circle had Chase and the other top wolves.
Girls had already swarmed them, but she would take this chance to try and make a move, after a deep breath she made her way.
How she wished she was as bold as the other girls were in the circle slightly touching them, not that they seemed to mind.
When she got there, Storm patted Brian on the back a bit and he turned around, and she could see the glimmer in his eyes, as he took her in.
"Do you mind if I can talk to you?"
Brian grinned, "Of........................."
"Should you not let yourself be known as you're in the presence of the alpha?"
Storm froze, and turned to Chase immediately, "I'm very sorry, my name is Storm."
"Stop teasing her Chase, she looks timid enough already," Brian replied.
"You're only saying that because she is a rare beauty." This time it was Ben.
"How can I not, and my beauty wants to talk to me," Brian replied.
"Well you can't, did you forget that you have to go see Beverly."
Brian groaned, "I forgot about that, can't you cover for me?" Brian replied.
"Not a chance."
"I have to go Storm, maybe another time," Brian said to her.
As he was about to leave she grabbed his arm, "Could I get your number?"
Brian smiled as she handed him her phone and he typed in his number, "Text me okay."
Storm nodded in glee, and watched as Brian ran out of the room, she started to walk away,
"Where are you going?"
Storm turned to Chase, "Outside."
"You don't acknowledge me, then you have the nerve to ask for his number in my presence."
Storm was a bit surprised by Chase's response, why was he very aggressive, and was it her who did not know if they behaved this way?
"Sorry."
"I don't want your apology, what am I supposed to do with it?"
Storm kept quiet, she could not say anything else as everyone laughed at her in the circle, she felt annoyed that they were laughing at her expense.
Storm was overcome with a bit of rage and she turned and stormed out of the hall. She was walking very fast as her temper had risen.
She felt a hand turn her around roughly and it was Chase, he seemed to be fuming and wondered why he had chased after her.
"You don't walk out on me," Chase growled out.
Her own anger made her retaliate, "Oh wow do I need to bow down to you or ask for permission to leave."
Chase sneered at her, "Don't test me Storm, looks can only get you far."
"You're right, far away from you."
"What happened to the docile girl in front of Brian?"
"For every action, there is a reaction."
"Don't try to be a fucken smart ass."
"I won't be, so excuse me, my king, I have to leave."
Storm turned to leave but she felt a handful of her hair being grabbed he pulled her back and she was facing him with her hand on the back of her head.
"Don't test me Storm."
Storm could feel fear coursing through her, what was she thinking about challenging the alpha? He could end her life in a matter of seconds.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking."
"You're coming to your senses," Chase replied.
Storm gritted her teeth, as she tried to not move from the pain, he finally let her go, and now she stood there looking at him.
Why was he just staring at her now, "Has your hair always been white?"
That was an odd question, "Yes from birth up until now."
Chase nodded and he did not give anything away, she could feel his energy was very strong, and he looked at her once more, "I will be seeing you around."
Storm nodded, Chase turned and made his way back to the hall as her heart was beating fast, and tried to calm down.
She could not believe that this has just happened, Storm breathed out in relief and made her way back to their place.
She knew that Meghan and Paige would not be coming back with her any time soon, so she would wait for them if she could stay awake.
The walk back was clouded as she had so much on her mind, but she could not wait to get there so that she would text Brian.
She could feel jitters, tonight had been great and Brian found her beautiful, that was all that mattered and all that she would focus on.
