The waitress was right. The food was delicious. Lainey ate until she was in a food coma, or at least felt like it. The events had really started to hit her hard. She needed a bed and a couple days of sleep stat!
The waitress came over to her with her check. She looked at her and knew something wasn't right. She sensed she was running from something or someone, and her body was running on fumes. Knowing she was a good judge of character she decided this poor girl needed help.
"Honey if I may be so bold, do you need help?" The kind waitress asked.
