Balel was in rage. He cannot believe what had happened to his friend.
“You’re next,” he heard to one of the Wu twins saying. He even became more annoyed when the general directly stared at him without any sense of guilt, but instead, a smirk.
“No,” he retaliated. “You’re next.”
Balel’s shadow started to eat up the dominion of General Wu, the Antartica. From where Balel stood, clump of extremely dark shadows started appearing. It swirled onto the snowy ground, danced in spiraled, confusing pattern.
“Wh—What? This is my domain!” said General Wu with shock and sense of fear all pasted on his face.
“The one who’s stronger would get the chance to build a strong domain, General Wu.”
The General looked at him. Disgust was written on all over his raging face.
“Heh! You do not do that, for I am stronger than you!” he exclaimed. He slashed his wooden sword onto the air, to make a s***h of ice that would travel towards Balel. But when it reached the place where the shadows were lurking and slowly creeping towards the Antartica domain of the General, the ice s***h evaporated. General Wu gasped, and trembled in fear.
“For what is this atrocity this man is pulling? But, I would not let him do whatever he wants!” he grunted, clenched his teeth, and started to move his wooden sword. The Ice dragon roared. And started to move. It snaked on the air, then faced Balel who was standing firmly, as he fought with his best to ruin the Ice Dominion of the general, and to make his own dominion be the dominant field they could fight. That way, he could execute skills more efficiently.
Balel was struggling. He kept his teeth clenched because the energy he stored onto his body is starting to drain. Making a domain space would require using a lot of energy, and also power from the Kohns residing inside the body. But what more if it was about creating and fighting another domain?
While in the middle of struggling, something caught Balel’s eyes. A bright, shining Kohn that floats in the air, fluttering its wings in the still-cold domain.
“A golden Kohn?” Even General Wu were fascinated when he saw a golden-colored Kohn in his front. He never saw a golden-colored majic dust bearer in his life, nor summoned it, nor even knew that it exists. Just today. He asked himself of what is happening, but instead of diving more into curiosity, he put it all on the back of his mind, and started attacking his opponent.
He is afraid that Balel might be brewing something that would hurt him. He is afraid that the Golden Kohn was a trick up on his sleeve.
“Jixhong, Ice Beam!” General Wu shouted.
The dragon above him opened his mouth. The crackled sound of the ice as the dragon opened its jaws horrifyingly resonated in the dry-cold wind. Another roar escaped on his mouth, then an icy-bright light formed. It balled on its fangs, on its lips, on its sharp razor teeth.
Balel prepared for that attack. He clenched his fist, strengthening the small domain he has created.
All he can do is to strengthen the foundation of his domain, and make sure that the Ice Beam would not be able to penetrate towards him and his shadowy space.
For if the beam would penetrate, he would surely be at a mess.
He could not evade it, nor even jumped away from where he was standing, because the domain that he had created would be gone.
Once it was gone, the extensive amount of energy he had putted to create the domain would instantly be gone too. And he cannot bear to lose it.
And then the Golden Kohn happened to act.
Correction, the Golden Kohns.
From the Ice-bright beam forming on the Ice Dragon’s mouth, it shifted into gilded shade. Balel looked at it with hint of fluster and curiosity. There he found that it was not just a single Golden Kohn anymore. There were a hundred of them. And it was beautiful to see. Fascinating onto the eye.
Those were surrounding the Ice Dragon above the air. Perhaps, the Ice Dragon too was flustered when he saw the Golden Kohns surrounding him, fluttering their wings, and watching his every moves. General Wu also found out of the existence of numerous Golden Kohns in the air.
He asked himself if it was Balel who summoned the Golden Kohns, and how has he able to summon those unknown kinds of Kohns?
But it turned out, Balel was as confused as him.
Or perhaps not, because he knew who can pull this kind of trick.
General Wu jumped away, far apart from Balel. He was sure something was about to happen.
Balel, still the Shadow Dominion activated, felt the warmth of the bright golden color from the dragon. It looked as if the dragon were the sun, curling and balling itself tightly. He heard another roar from the dragon.
And then, it exploded. One after another, debris of finely grinded crystals of ice rained on the whole domain, as if it was raining with sparkles.
Balel had to cover his face because even the golden bright light penetrated towards his domain, and the warmth of the shining light had even made his cold skin refreshed.
“What is this? Is this your doing, Holder?”
At Balel’s mind, it wasn’t fully sinking yet that Holder died. He believes that the Sankt Vessel User is still alive. And he is. That, he was sure.
“Balel, pull down your domain. You don’t need to spend your energy anymore. I can handle him.”
A cold voice erupted beside him. Even though his eyes hasn’t fully adjusted towards the bright light, he managed to open it, and look at the person who talked to him.
“Holder,” he called.
Just like what he saw when they were having a training fight, Holder was wearing a golden armor. The same golden armor that suddenly appeared when he summoned golden Kohns as his energy. And now, he had done it again. Even his body is excessively glowing-like a star, whose brightness lasts for a million ages.
