10 The blare of the music hit them as they left the restroom. They walked the corridor in silence and before they reentered the bar, he said in a dry voice, “I suggest you let Stuart drive you home now.” He didn’t wait for her answer and walked in sure strides, her arm caught in his grip. On his way out to the parking lot, he signaled Stuart.
