Synopsis

Jan Gabriel “Gab” Mercado is an academic scholar in one of the prestigious School in the country called Walton University. He is well known for being an outstanding student in the university, thus he goes by the name "Mr. Acads" in the campus.  At first, Gab thinks that the alias is little bit cringe because he does nothing special apart from hitting the books in which he is obliged to do to maintain his scholarship. Unlike other students, Gab needs to do an extra job to earn his keeps. Studying and working is a challenging enough for Gab and he realized early that if he wants something, he needs to work hard on it.

Being cream of the crop gave him some advantage to find his circle of friends. Gabriel has four friends that he can count on through thick and thin. Also, he is a proud member of LGBTQA+ where he was out and he can freely express his self without worrying about the judgement of other people, also he was lucky enough to have friends who accepted him and treat him equally in which he was very thankful to have.

Nerd, geek and imbalance are the words describes Jan Gabriel’s best friend named Marc Ediejer Walton because of his big round eyeglasses and one-sided haircut. Also, he is always wearing loose pants and oversized uniforms every time he went to campus. Ediejer’s daily routine had never changed for almost one a half year and he was actually get used to it whenever he’s with Gabriel. Gab didn't mind it and accepts Ediejer for whoever he is. He is just returning the favor of them accepting him for being who he is. Aside from that, he believes that good looks can be fade but a good heart lasts a lifetime. In fact, he finds Ediejer comforting enough and even tell him all the secrets that he has including Denver Del Fuego, who was his ultimate crush since the first day of his college life. 

Time really flies so fast until Gab finally found out that the best friend he trusted and treated like his own brother was the man who wore a mask because of his unreal identity. Unforgivable is the best word to describe when his best friend betrayed him. Their almost one and a half year of friendship is now officially end. At first, there’s a big chance to bring back their friendship but suddenly when the day he saw Gabriel and his cousin being together, he got jealous since he was deeply in love with his best friend to the point that he was now being obsessed on him.

Jealousy transforms us to someone we didn't think we are, thus secrets always find his way to reveal when you less expect it. Ediejer's wall is slowly breaking as he saw Gabriel with none other than Denver Del Fuego. He knows very well how Gab adores and love him and it pains Ediejer seeing that, he can't afford losing Gab to someone else. In order to get Gab's attention back and to also show his true self to someone that he can rely on, he decided to tell the truth that he is the president’s son who forced to hide his identity to protect their family’s name. All of these is just a show but falling in love with his bestfriend is real and the most candid feeling that he felt after all those years. 

Ediejer who is desperate to have Gabriel again used an evil planned just to remained Gab by his side. It pains him seeing Gab hurt but he couldn’t afford losing him either. He used his power and threatened Gab that if he will not agree on his plan to be his personal slave, he will remove Gab's scholarship, also his part time job, and the most painful part was detained his own mother. Gabriel, with stoic face agrees with him and decided to endure all of this, what pains him more is seeing Ediejer turning into someone else and he feels that the person in front of him is a stranger because he doesn't know him at all anymore. Even though Gabriel is now his best friend’s servant, he doesn’t care at all because he treated Ediejer now as his enemy.

Time running so quickly until one day, Gabriel realized that his wrath and anger for his best friend is now suddenly change and it turns out to love. When Ediejer knew about this, he posted their relationship on social media quickly and he spread out the news all over the campus. Ediejer, who is the president’s son promised to Gab that he will do everything to make their relationship’s perfect. But just like the saying “Nobody’s Perfect”, someone tried to make them two suffered by a car accident and it happens when the day Ediejer proposed to Gabriel to be his husband.

At first, Ediejer thought that Gabriel left him in purpose but because of their close friend named Rafael who knows everything about what truly happened, he quickly asked Gabriel for forgiveness and he also promised for the second time that he will do everything to make their relationship back. Gabriel decided to give Ediejer’s another chance because his feeling for his best friend was never faded and his true love for Ediejer prevails in the end.

But can Gab really accepts Ediejer's true identity? Can he handle all the truth behind Ediejer's personality? Can he still trust him like he used to do before? Can Gabriel really stick to the saying that love can last a lifetime and lead to happier, healthier relationships?
