“Xavier? Did you find her?” I tried again, hoping for an answer.
“Xavier, did you find Elizabeth?”
My concern for my mate had now turned into a terrible panic. I was on the verge of exploding and killing everything and anything around me until I could find my mate. I needed to know that she was safe and in good health.
“Bloody hell, Xavier! F*cking answer me! PLEASE!” I begged. I knew it was barely minutes that had passed from when he had left, but certainly, he could at least answer me with a simple yes or no!
