Elizabeth's POV
With every moment we had spared, we visited Lea. She was more sedated than anything else, but she was awake. She was able to communicate, but it was limited.
Zander had kept his word and stood by her every moment he had. He even came clean with Jessica.
Jessica lost it when he told her. I didn’t blame her, but she had eventually decided that she would stand by both of them. She was still a bit aloof towards Zander, but I believe that in the end they will find one another and mend their relationship.
We had arranged a baby shower to honor Lea, and the doctor had lessened the sedation. Lea had become weaker over the last couple of weeks, but I believe she will at least pull through until the pup is born.
