Alexander's POV
I froze. I was so shocked at what I had found. My grip on holding Kevin back had failed, and he stood in my mind just as confused and dumbstruck as I was.
I recognized the girl who was standing in the room as one of Zander's mates. Her eyes grew big as she saw me, and she took off, running out the second door towards the altar room.
"What the f*ck?" Kevin burst out unexpectedly, getting me out of my shock state.
I knew we never knew much about Zander's mates, except for their moving here and being half-breeds. Which was extremely rare.
I shook my head. Killing them, if they were part of this, would weaken Zander.
I guess the subject of surprise had gone out the door as I walked toward the altar room.
Kevin was growing angry by the minute, and he had replaced my hand
