Summoning the inky droplet within my mind, I conjured two balls of black flame around my hands, then reached toward the two closest snakes clinging to my skin.
Crackle.
The snakes were incinerated instantly upon contact. Not a trace remained of their bodies.
"This fire is pretty powerful!"
Pleased with the fire's incredible efficacy, I applied it to the other snakes within reach.
Soon, two more of the reptilian pests turned to dust in my fingers.

I heard the sound of whistling again.
The swarm of snakes turned tail and slithered back toward their master.
Flametail stared at my hands; her snakes surged all around her like a serpentine entourage.
