“The ceremony took a toll on her, Stella, but I felt some other changes in her body,” Bennett said to me after checking on Ariel. She was still sleeping peacefully. “What changes?” I asked her in a worried tone. “There is nothing to worry about, Stella…. Don’t panic,” she immediately comforted me, and I took a deep breath in relief.
“She fainted because of the drain of energy due to the surge of energy and information of the pack when her mind linked it with the pack. It made me wonder, How is she able to connect with the pack when she is a human?” She continued in a confused toneand I knitted my brows in confusion.
