Ariel’s P.O.V.
“You are poisoned and you are telling me now? What do you think you are, huh? Are you a superwoman who can do anything?” Martha yelled at me at the top of her lungs, making me frown and shrink my shoulders to save my ear. Bennett and Samantha also shrank their shoulders lightly while blinking hard.
“You didn’t even tell us why you married in haste. You have changed, Ariel, but it doesn’t mean that I will leave you alone to suffer. Just tell me who the person is in your suspicion and I will make their lives hell,” she kept on yelling while complaining.
“Uhhhhh…. Excuse me, Martha…. But she is sick and any kind of agitation can be a problem for her,” Samantha interrupted her in a friendly way. Martha glared at me but huffed in the end. I looked at Samantha with gratitude.
