I tried to move my hand out of Queen Rosella’s grasp, but she tightened her grip. “Your wolf saved you once and sacrificed herself so that you can live. Cherish this life for her. Don’t trust anyone blindly. The one, who wanted to kill you back then, is still trying to kill you. He killed your parents, and now his only target is you. Don’t trust anyone except your mate. You don’t know who is a foe in the disguise of a friend,” she said in a hoarse voice.
Her eyes were completely white and there was so much coldness around her that it gave me a chill. Killian’s grip tightened on my shoulder, giving me the support that I needed the most right now. My knees went jelly when I processed what she said.
