Alina’s POV My phone buzzed in my hand, the screen flashing with an unfamiliar number, I immediately picked the call.“Hello?” My voice was tight, my heart already racing. “Miss Alina?” a woman’s voice asked on the other end. “This is St. Mary’s Hospital. A young man asked us to contact you. His name is—” “Zayn,” I whispered before she could finish. My whole body went cold. “Yes. He’s being treated for a head injury. He’s stable, but you should come.” My legs nearly gave out beneath me.
