Alina’s POV My eyes fluttered open, heavy and weak, and the first thing I saw was Zayn… and my dad standing beside him. “Zaynnn,” I whispered, my voice barely a breath. His gaze snapped to me instantly. “Alina…” His voice trembled as tears glistened in his eyes. “You’re finally awake.” With trembling fingers, I pulled the oxygen mask off. A faint smile tugged at my lips, though it hurt to even move. “Sweetheart, how are you?” Dad’s voice broke as he leaned closer, his hand brushing gently through my hair.
