Adam's POV
I had to plan my next move carefully. By now I was sure there was tons of people searching for us. I had to make sure that she didn’t communicate with her mate.
I had prepared for that. I was going to have to drug her and keep her mind foggy. I didn't want to have to inject her, so I decided that crushing pills into her food was the best way to go. If need be I would inject her. I was hoping it didn’t come to that. I just need time to show her that I could still be the guy she used to love.
Carra's POV
Being here with him and watching him look so sad made me remember who he used to be. And what it was like between us.
It wasn’t as if feeling for him had flooded back it was more a sadness and knowing who he used to be. Maybe just maybe there was still hope for him.
