Two Weeks Later
Vi’s desk was covered with the papers she’d recovered from Rosalie’s apartment. Luckily Delia and Katrina, assuming they’d known about Rosalie’s crimes, hadn’t gained access to her apartment.
The wards around her door had taken more than a week to break. Vi might have been able to do it faster if she had help, but she wasn’t sure who in the coven could be trusted. No one was.
They had no leader and no one wanted to step up. Other covens in the area were starting to recruit. Vi doubted the coven would survive.
But that wasn’t her primary concern at the moment. Rosalie had stacks of files, many innocuous, but some brimmed with the crimes she’d been committing. And the conspiracy went deep.
