The whole family has been hanging out in the cabin all day together. The kids have been playing with their toys that they got, completely content with going nowhere for the day. Mom reheated leftovers all day for everyone. The adults have been scattered out most of the day, either playing with the kids or talking with each other.
However, my eyes have mostly been on Deidra all day. After the phone call with Deb, I took her phone. I told her to trust me, and let me handle things for her. I knew she trusted me, but she was still worried about Deb and riddled with guilt. I told her to take a long, hot shower and let it all melt away. I tried reassuring her the best I could, but I'm not sure how well that went. She hasn't said much all day, but
