I woke up to my alarm blaring. I jolted awake as I reached for my phone to turn it off. When it finally stopped, I almost fell back asleep. Until a little body snuggled up against me, reminding me where the hell I was.
I blew out a quiet breath as my eyes opened. For a moment, I just stared at the ceiling. I stared at the glow-in-the-dark stars and planets that were above her bed. I remember when she got those.
