The man had damaged my arm once before. Shallipopi touched me, and that is why I was terrified. "Shallipopi, let us split up," I resisted.

Shallipopi questioned, "Ivy, I love you very much," since she could not believe it. Without you, I cannot survive."

It seemed humorous to me. "April came to me," I murmured, meeting his eyes.

After a lengthy period of silence, Shallipopi finally stated, "Ivy, I am sorry to break the news to you, but I can clarify that I do not feel anything for April. Never, indeed. What can I do, even though I do not love her at all? I am simply a Beta, while April and her brother are Alpha.

She is interested in getting married to me. I really can not resist it. But today things are different."

Shallipopi appeared somewhat emotional, a far cry from his previous demeanour. He used to always be so elegant.

"Ivy, I want to be with you and I like you." I had assumed my life would end, but ever since I met you, I have come to realise there is still hope. My goal in life is to get away from April and his brother so that I may get a divorce from her as quickly as possible. Would you kindly give me another opportunity?

Shallipopi moved forward to give me a hug, but I shooed him off. I was psychologically and physically worn out. I did not want to hear him give me an explanation, so we kept dating.

"However, Shallipopi, did not you lie to me right away? I refuse to put up with romantic betrayal. Please leave. I want no more to see you."

I recalled as a child that Mrs. Howard, the neighbour, had caught her husband and other women in the act of getting together. The town's residents chastised the woman for ruining other people's marriages and families.

It was not something I particularly enjoyed. But, Shallipopi's deceit made me the most unpleasant person ever. Knowing the whole truth about this relationship prevented me from continuing it.

"I do not wish to cause harm to anyone or destroy houses. Do not come to me again, please." After pushing Shallipopi aside, I headed upstairs.

Right before I opened the door, it occurred to me that the flat key appeared to be in the company. I packed everything up and placed it on my desk. The key dropped to the floor and the table toppled over due to the argument with April.

I was a little afraid to return to the business. However, I should acquire my flat key, so I made the decision to head downstairs.

Sounds came from downstairs. It felt like I was treading carefully.

"Will April and that man be around again?" No, please.

Ebuka Point of View

As the werewolf Alpha, my name was Ebuka West.

I had been reliant on my sister April—an Alpha—since I was a young child. Sadly, though, April developed feelings for a Beta. The individual was a traitor by the name of Shallipopi.

That is when I first heard about Shallipopi and Ivy. My sister suffered because Shallipopi forced April to get a divorce and had another lady outside. I went to the place where Shallipopi worked and gave that woman a lesson in order to teach her a lesson.However, I saw something incredibly strange: Why was my partner's scent all over her body? She stated, "I can obviously hear that you are a human." I also made sure she could not be a werewolf based on her strength. I could not resist getting near to her and touching her because of that smell. What transpired between us?

I could smell my sister's perfume as I turned to go. I observed my sister walk inside Shallipopi's office when I went back to his workplace.

She had unkempt hair and tears streaming down her face. Before that, she ought to have gotten into a fight with someone.

Like a detective, she went through the entire workplace. When she finally made it to Shallipopi's desk, she noticed that the picture was of Shallipopi and Ivy. Standing beneath the Christmas tree, dressed as lovers, the two individuals in the photo were grinning broadly.April was clearly hurting a great deal by this happiness. April grabbed the picture and tossed it to the floor.

The picture frame's broken glass pieces were all over the place. Sensing that it was insufficient, she lifted her feet in a gesture of releasing her ire and trod on the picture. She soon crushed it into the garbage paper.

April collapsed to the ground and started sobbing. I felt really sad about that scene. Before that Beta showed up, I had vowed never to allow my sister to experience any pain from her early years, and I believed that we would be together forever.

I vividly recall April's first-ever homecoming with Shallipopi. She remarked that Shallipopi would bring her happiness, therefore it was her boyfriend, and they were getting married.

I called out to her, "April?" as soon as I entered the office.

When April looked up, I was there at the door. She took a few moments to stop crying.

I approached her, knelt down, and gave her a hug. Why are you here, April? If you had not gone here looking for him, it would help. You have learned a valuable lesson from that woman. Shallipopi is a dubious individual. You ought to release him."

April gave a headshake. "No, Shallipopi is merely a passing fancy for that woman. He loves me the most, I think." Her eyes were full of desperation and rage. It is because of that woman; Shallipopi would love me once more as long as she vanishes.
