Belle dropped the call and tried to calm her racing heart. What was she going to tell Maxton? And most importantly how was she going to get Teja to the hospital?
"Why do you have that weird look on your face?" Teja asked as she passed by to make breakfast. She'd bathed and changed into shorts and a t-shirt.
There was no way she could pull this off without telling Teja. But how was she going to tell her without making her freak out?
"Belle you are doing that thing with your fingers again and you are starting to scare me. What is it?"
Belle didn't even realise she had been fiddling with her fingers till Teja mentioned it. She kept my hands to herself and bit down on her lips.
"Maxton called..."
"And?" Teja asked impatiently.
"He wants to see me again," Belle squeaked out.
