I stared at the surviving goldfish in the bowl and let out a loud sigh. My thoughts were anything but happy. I kept asking myself questions a tad too sentimental. Would I end up like the fish I flushed down the toilet with no fancy ceremony to tell it goodbye? Or would I be left alone like that one swimming around listlessly but with no one there for me? Either way,it was depressing. And that was why I made an habit of feeding it. We were in a very lonely phase. Regina may not be dead but I sure as hell lost her.
I had never felt as much physical pain as I did since Gina left. I wasn't a love struck baboon,I reminded myself for the umpteenth time. But there was no helping how much I miss her. How much I missed her touch. H
