  WINTER   I stand by the pool watching Olivia thrash around in the water like an angry cat that fell off a yacht. Her hair is plastered to her head, and black mascara streams down her cheeks in perfect little rivers of karma.   This is the most beautiful thing I've seen all day.   At first, she tries to swim to the edge like nothing happened.   I stand there, arms crossed, enjoying the show. "Swim faster, princess. The chlorine might ruin your spray tan."
