  WINTER   I spot Nath talking intensely with Ace in the corner. Whatever they're discussing looks serious, and I make a mental note to ask about it later.   "Just listen to me for one second," Mike says, stepping in front of me with genuine desperation. "Don't do this kissing contest."   I actually laugh. "Who do you think you are?
