Nineteen The boar is upon her and Solma can’t get away. She scrabbles across the uneven ground, unable to find her footing. Her prosthesis is loose. Her body won’t do as it’s told. Sharp trotters stab into her. The boar’s eyes are full of rage and it's saying— “Wake up, Solma!” Solma lurches upright, arms flailing. She swears viciously and catches Warren across the ear by accident. “Ouch! Hey!” He jabs her in the ribs again and Solma, still half asleep, feels the dream-boar attacking. She cries out, trying to work out where she is, until Bell sits up in bed and wraps an arm around Solma’s shoulders. “Shhh. It ain’t real. You’re alright. You’re at home.
