The roaring of the mighty thunder and lightning in the dark sky made Max have a second thoughts about seeking an audience with Thanatos.
Max swallowed a lump in his throat and spoke in a quivering voice. “Maybe we should turn back now.”
Jasmine didn’t like the idea of Max visiting Thanatos. She tried all she could to scare the s**t out of him with stories of how ruthless and unmerciful Thanatos is. The story didn’t get to Max after all when he heard Jasmine tell the stories.
