It was late when I got to our room and Kailee was asleep on the bed. I got in the shower and let the hot water run over my head for what felt like a while. Tomorrow, I would announce to my pack that we were going to war and, as their Alpha, I needed to be more disciplined than ever before. I couldn’t help but wonder how this would all play out, but one thing I knew was I was never going to let anything happen to Kailee as long as I lived. I hoped she would agree to join the pack at tomorrow’s announcement. That would show the pack that she was one step closer to being their Luna and she was as committed to them as they were already to her.
