24 - Restrict

1214 Words
“Let go of me, Thorian.” She groaned trying to break free from his grip but his grip only tightened around her arm. “You're hurting me, let go.” “You're not leaving until I tell you to. Do you think you can escape from me for the second time?” He asked, a dangerous look flashing through his eyes. “Let go of me, I'm only going to the library.” She screamed, pushing him away from herself and she managed to summon the strength to stun him as she pushed him away. “So do you think you trying to restrict my movement?” Thorian didn't say a word to her. The look on his face said he wanted to apologize but he didn't say anything and just let her walk out of the room, rubbing her wrists to reduce the pain. He caught sight of the redness of her hand and it made a lump appear his throat. He flet like screaming and bringing the whole building in anger but he didn't and just dashed out of the room, making sure he didn't go towards Asmeria at all. He ran out of the mansion, running towards the forest behind the mansion as he shifted into his animal form and he ran into the forest at insane speed. Maybe that would help him clear his head a bit because he didn't know why he was losing control with her tonight. She would view him as a freak who was all nice to her one second and the next second he was a being all wicked and hurting her. He came to an halt at the edge of a cliff, letting out a howl which went across the entire forest. People around could recognize the Lycan's howl and they knew he wasn't the best to interact with whenever he was angry. Asmeria sat in the library, not reading a thing. She just stared at the pages not knowing why she was so angry at him. She knew how he acts so it shouldn't be new to her at all. An howl came go her ears and she shook in fear, the book with her falling to the ground as she looked out the window with a puzzled expression. “What's going on?” She asked her wolf who didn't have any answer to what she was asking and alslo looked out the window with a shocked expression through Asmeria's sight. “I see nothing, I don't know what's happening.” Her wolf replied and she looked out with a confused expression again before picking up her book and she finally started to read it but she couldn't focus on it well. She dropped the entire book and just returned to the the room. Strangely, she didn't see Thorian in the room and wondered if he went out to examine where the howl came from. She didn't know why she was so worried about it. She got back into bed, covering herself with the blankets. She couldn't go to sleep and just stared at the ceiling with her arms resting on her stomach. “Why aren't you going to bed?” Her wolf asked with a soft whisper. “I don't know why I can't sleep.” She replied with a sigh before turning over to sleep but she was unable to for almost an hour when the door to the room was finally pushed open. She didn't move but knew it was Thorian who stepped into the room. She heard panting and it made her worried and she was forced to sit up in bed to see Thorian covered in sweat, looking like he just fought an entire arm of animals, blood all over him. “Holly Molly, what happened?” She asked, covering her mouth in shock. “Just go take a bath or something.” Thorian nodded before heading towards the bathroom, taking a shower before he walked out to her. She was sitting at the edge of the bed and when he stepped out she walked over to him, examining him if he was good but he only had some cut on his face and wound on his knuckles which didn't seem to be healing at all. He watched with so much interest as she took care of his wounds and he didn't know why he felt all fuzzonon the inside, looking down at her. “Why are you so nice to me?” He asked, making her look up at him with a raised brow. “I just yelled at you an dnow you're here, taking care of my wounds. I don't deserve you, Asmeria. I don't deserve any care from you. Not even one hint of care.” “Don't say that.” Asmeria said, looking away from him back to his hand. “Everyone deserves at least someone who would care for them and you're not an exception.” “What makes you think I'm not an exception?” He asked and she looked up at him tilting her head sideways but didn't say anything. “Even you don't know why I should be shown love and care. You wished I was never in your life to burden you again. You were happy that I was out of your life for good.” He said, clenching his fists, not allowing her to examine his wounds. “Come on, Thorian. Don't make me lose my patience.” She said gesturing to the way he was clenching his fist. He slowly released it and she started to clean it again. “Yes it's true that you can be a handful but it's not your fault.” She said with a small sigh, cleaning his hands gently with all the care she could give to him. She knew it was poisoned but his blood has numbed the poison so the wound was deep. It was hurting him but he didn't say a word. “But I know you're doing all this for a reason. You're not the same Thorian I used to know, Thorian.” She said in her soft voice. “Where have you gone to, Thorian? Don't let a situation define you and change you.” She said before dropping the cloth she was using in wiping his wound and she bandaged it gently before letting go of his hand. “All done.” She said, standing up and returning the first aid kit to its position and he watched her every moment with so much interest. She noticed his gaze but didn't pay attention to it and just headed to bed, laying under the sheets as he sat at the edge of the bed seeming lost in his thoughts. He laid next to her, not saying a word and she knew he wanted to say something but she chose not to ask. Suddenly, Thorian sat up and she looked at him with a raised brow. “Evander.” He said, getting out of bed. Asmeria hearing her son's name sprang up from the bed, rushing after Thorian who already headed out the door. “Lycan… Lycan. Young master.” A panicked maid rushed over to them. “What's going on?” “He's missing.”
