A loud crash came from Thorian's office and the men standing in front of him flinched in fear as they took a step back to avoid his wrath. “What is wrong with all of you?” He thundered angrily as he looked at the report they just brought in to him. “You only had one job. Just one job for crying out loud.” “So sorry, your majesty. Lady Asmeria has been busy with Rogue Rolfe and we've been unable to get to her.” The head guard said apologetically and Thorian dell back into his chair in anger, trying to think of another way he can execute his plan to kidnap Asmeria and bring her back to himself. Thorian sat there for a few minutes and the head guard gently whispered to get his attention back to them who were standing there waiting for his next command. “What are we going to do about it now, your majesty?” The guard askwd and Thorian glared at him. “Get out of my sight.” Thorian growled and they all rusjed out of the room before he unleashed his wrath upon them. They all knew Thorian wasn't the type of person anyone would advise you to mess with if you value your life well. He didn't mind personally snapping anyone's head off in a blink of an eye. “Why don't you want to come to me, Asmeria.” His voice came out very low like a tortured man. “You are my only hope right now and I just wish you can understand me.” His fingers traced her picture gently and a bitter smile appeared on his lips. “Enough of the torture already and just come back to me. I realize my mistake.” Eh couldn't believe he was already going crazy because of her. He hasn't gotten any decent sleep on days all he could think about was Asmeria and how he would get her back from Rolfe which seems to be the most difficult mission he has ever embarked on in his entire lifetime. “If you won't willingly listen to me, I'll do every other thing I can to make you listen to me and become mine completely.” Thorian's growl resounded in the room, accompanied by a wicked laughter from him. The guards standing outside his office looked at each other before whispering to each other. “Looks like he is finally losing it.” The first one said with pity in his voice. “Truly. I can't say he doesn't deserve what the lady is doing to him. He left her for the alpha's real daughter because he wanted resources. He deserves ever single thing she is doing to him.” The other one said and they hurriedly kept quiet as they heard Thorian's footsteps. Thorian pulled open the door before they could and just stepped out of the room with a deadly frown on his face. “But she is pushing him to his limit and I wouldn't like to meet with his limit if I was the one.” The first guard said as they watched Thorian turn the corner. Thorian walked towards his carriage and entered with a small frown as the rider closed the door. He knew if he didn't get Asmeria to marry him, there's no way Evander could legally be his son so he had to make sure he did everything in his power to make her marry him. “Where to, your majesty?” The rider asked but Thorian just ignored him. “Yes sir.” He hurriedly said before starting to the carriage and riding off as fast as he could so he wouldn't provoke Thorian too with too much speed either. Asmeria walked back to her building from the pack main mansion to get some clothes for herself and Evander. She has been there for days, taking care of all the brusies Rolfe got from Thorian's beating. “I hate you so much Thorian.” She gritted her teeth as she pulled her door open. She stepped into the house, not suspecting anything and just locked the door and as she locked it, a white handkerchief covered her mouth. She tried to fight it but it was too late as someone whispered a soft sound in her ear before she fell unconscious. She doesn't know how long it was but she woke up in a very dark room. She tried to move but she was unable to move. “What's going on?” She tried to say but her throat was parched and she was unable to speak. She tried fighting against what she has been tied with bit it was too strong for her. She wondered who on earth kidnapped her. She was even more shocked at the audacity the person must have to go to the extent of kidnapping her for whatever their reason may be. Suddenly, she heard footsteps coming from a distance and she looked around the dark room maybe she could make pit the door but she could only make out the window where cold breeze was blowing in. She could tell it was deep in the night by the darkness she was seeing or whether it is what she thought. The door slowly opened and she saw a large figure standing at the door. She trembled in fear as the individual stepped forward before finally lighting the lamp with him. Anger surged through Asmeria's body as she saw Thorian standing there staring right at her. “What the hell do you want? Why did you bring me here?” She forced out through her parched throat and it made it hurt her more than it was hurting her already. “Shhhh, you haven't drank water or eaten anything I'm two days. You must be hungry and tired.” He said, gesturing to the tray of food on his other hand before dropping the lamp in the middle of the room and she could tell it was an attic which had a small bed there too. He settled in front of her and lifted the cup for her to drink but she candidly refused it before he grabbed her chin and forced her to drink. She gulped it hard and glared at him and he equally glared back. “Don't make me annoyed, Asmeria. I don't want to hurt you.” “You are hurting me and you've hurt me enough already.” She said to him but he didn't care at all and just started mixing the food for her. “I had the maids prepare ingredients for your favourite, rice and chicken soup. Remember you used to like the rice added in the chicken soup as you eat it along with fresh milk.” He said, his gaze not leaving the bowl of food. “I personally made it for you.” Asmeria's refused to open her mouth and it annoyed him but he didn't say a word and just tried even more to feed her but she kept on refusing. “Stop this nonsense already Asmeria. You will not starve yourself to death, u don't want any of that because I won't allow you no matter how hard you try. So open up hour mouth now or you can starve to death along with your Rolfe.” He thundered and hearing him mention Rolfe. She opened her mouth to receive the food. “Good.” He said and Asmeria looked at him with tears rolling down her cheeks as she took the food. He slowly wiped her years away with his thumb and suddenly he had a sad look on his face. “You won't cry because of me, would you? You know I still love you and I can't near seeing you with another man even if it's just to make me jealous.” “I want you back in my life Asmeria and I don't want another man to come between us.” He said, making her look at him forcefully. “I don't want that Rolfe in the picture, I want you for my self only.” “And you have my child with you…” “Evander is not your son. You died to me since that day you chose Asannah.” Asmeria finally spoke up. “So what's wrong now? She finally left you and you want a rebound? You want to use me as a rebound for your broken relationship and after years you think just crawling into my life will solve things? It can never Thorian.” “It can…” “It can't.” She yelled. “I hate you. Seeing you cause me even more pain than my time with you has given me and I want to start a new life without you or anything about you.” She said with tears rolling down her eyes but he just laughed like a maniac. “You don't want to have anything to do with me and yet you have my son? I know you still love me, Asmeria and you're just lying to yourself. I would do anything to make you realize you still love me. And you will get married to me willingly whether you like it or not.” He said. “I will never…” “If you don't, then I'll kill Rolfe, and destroy everything he has built and he will blame it all on YOU.”
