I smiled and walked straight to him, my lower lip lifted into a cute pout, I reached him and grabbed his hands.

"What was that all about just now? Sebastian's eyes dimmed as he asked, his eyes lingered on the mark on my face and I could see him visibly get upset.

"Nothing for you to worry about. Just now I really used all my strength to slap her and my hand Hurt." I whined pitifully trying to break the topic. I can't explain everything to him yet but I will try my best to make it up to him in this lifetime.

"Call the Doctor to check on her." Sebastian ordered Talon and it was then I noticed he had been behind us the entire time, is he really going to get the doctor because of my hand? But I was just trying to get him to change subject.

"There is no need for that, I feel better now haha, my sister is just thick skinned and it hurt a little but just seeing you alone is enough to stop the pains." I said and held his hand with a pout, Sebastian didn't say a word, he merely touched my chin where the red marks from the slap remains and caressed it gently, the look of obsession on his eyes made my knee weak.

"You should really see a Doctor," He said this time in a gentler tone but I shook my head with a pout and grabbed his hands.

"I made breakfast, come on before it gets cold." I tried to change the subject again and seeing my persistence, Sebastian merely shook his head but followed me as I grabbed his hand and headed downstairs.

Talon stopped us right before the dining room and looked straight at me warily.

"What is the meaning of this? Get out of the way." I demanded but Talon frowned even more.

"Talon!" Sebastian called out with a cold metallic voice making the maids by the side tremble slightly.

"I'm sorry boss, but you can't eat the food. We have an important meeting today, who knows what the young Miss have cooked up again." Talon said all this in one breath and I frowned slightly, is he for real.

"How can he attend his meeting after the meal, or do you want your boss to leave for work in an empty stomach?" I berated only to be met with a fierce gaze from him.

"Young Madam, you can't possibly be serious, even though you know the boss is allergic to..."

"Shut up and get off the way." Sebastian growled as he ordered Coldly, the air surrounding the living room turn chilly and even I felt chills down my spine, Talon frowned but obeyed.

At the dining, my hands froze when I noticed the burnt part of the toasted bread, it was barely edible and tasted horrible, because I was too focused making it up to Isabella before, I didn't even learn how to cook a basic meal.

"Don't eat it." I grabbed the fork from Sebastian hand before he could dig in, he stared at me with raised brow, I coughed embarrassedly.

"It's burnt."

"It's fine." Sebastian insisted and ate the meal like it was the sweetest meal ever, seeing him chew so eagerly, I felt butterflies in my stomach. As I dug into my meal, I didn't notice but Sebastian lips curved into a satisfied smile as he gazed with a scrutinizing look.

After Sebastian left for work, I picked up my phone and walked into my own room, several missed calls from Xaxier and Isabella, I must have given them such a shock.

I sneered when an incoming call from him popped up, just in time, in the past, I didn't dare let him call me more than once, but looking at the series of missed call in my screen, I felt a surreal satisfaction just by staring at it, my fingers slide to the answer button and the enraged voice of Xavier rang out.

"Where the f**k have you been Moira? Damnit I called more than ten times already." He shouted and from the echo at the background, I knew he was still at the hospital.

Actually, the reason he was at the hospital was because of me, or technically because of their plot, after receiving a call from him to meet up secretly at a cafe, a car came rushing right towards me in the middle of the road, at that moment, Xaxier rushed in and pushed me off the road, getting hit instead by the car and successfully wrapping me with guilt, looking back, he didn't have to enter the road, he already pulled me away but he entered anyway, even putting his life in the way just to achieve their aim, I really underestimated how scheming those two could get.

If I can win against them in this lifetime, I need to beat them at their own game.

"I'm sorry Babe, I really didn't mean to ignore your call, but Sebastian put away my phone and only just handed it to me now." I explained in a pitiful and obedient tone, just as the way I usually talk to him, it's just for some time more, for now, I'd have them think they still have me wrapped round their fingers.

" what about the news Moira? You married him!"

"I really had no choice, his family was gonna cut off all projects with our company, we were already going bankrupt as..."

"You didn't have to f*****g kiss him!!" He screamed into the phone and I removed the phone far away from my ear, geez just like his lover, he is a crazy sicko, it's so exhausting to put up with them.

"You don't understand Xaxier, I really had no choice, they made me!" I whined in a low apologetic tone.

"I don't care Moira, in the past you used to fight off no matter what, but now you even willingly kissed him so passionately in front of many people, didn't you think of me at all at that moment, did I even cross your mind? The reason I'm even in this damn hospital is because of you!!" He shouted and I rolled my eyes, he had been guilt trapping me for his own faults for months.

"Listen to me Xaxier, this is just all an act, I want to get him to trust me, this way it would be easier to get away from him and make him sign his properties in my name, please trust me okay?" I pleaded and I heard him let out a sigh from the other end of the phone.

"It's not like I don't trust you Moira, you are the only one I truly love but youe sister called me complaining you slapped her .."

"That...that was because Sebastian was directly standing at the stairs, if I want to completely gain his trusts, I need him to believe I have changed, what better way to prove it than against my sweet sister."

The other end was silent for a while before his voice came in again, this time more gentler and softer.

"I believe you Moira, after all in this life, only I and your sister truly loves you." I almost vomited blood in disgust at his words, does he take me for a child, coaxing me like this, does he want me to fall to my knees and lick his feet, I honestly can't believe I was so madly in love with such good for nothing in the past.

"Make sure to drop in at the hospital today, I miss you so much."

"Sure." I uttered and ended the call because I couldn't take it no more, just you wait, you wouldn't know what's coming for you.

My body tensed when I hear footsteps coming from outside, I rushed to the door but when I opned it, no one was in the passageway, I breathe a sigh of relief and locked the door behind me, now it's time to set my plan in motion, first of all, I need to meet Elle, we fell out two months because of my sister, back then she disappeared after our fall out and I had thought she travelled abroad, I never knew she was murdered by those psychopaths, I clutched my fists tightly, in this life I'm going to repay you every damn thing you made me go through.

Unbeknownst to me, Sebastian was at the door all this while listening in to the conversation with an unreadable expression on his face.
