CHAPTER FIVE
Mira and Alex were both surprised to see a ritual being performed
in the building. There was a group of people gathered in a circle
speaking some chants.
"What is this?" Mira asked Alex, her voice filled with fear and
confusion.
"I have no idea, but it doesn't look good," Alex said, his eyes fixed
on the scene before them.
“We were deceived by Alex,” Mira said. Alex was still looking at
her confused, “what do you mean by that?” He asked.
“I mean we were deceived to this place,my son was taken to
another place,” she said feeling uneasy.
“Let's get out of here,” she said. As she was about to turn,she
saw her son's clothes in the middle of the people performing the
ritual.
She rushed there and went to their middle only to see that he
wasn't there. “I think they changed his clothes,” she said to her.
She came out of their middle and told Alex, “we need to get out of
here now,my son isn't here.
Alex followed her outside,she was about to transform into a
werewolf when she remembered Alex was there with her.
“Let's find our son first,I will explain this to you later,” she said.
“Get in the car,I think I know where they might be,” he said, not
looking at her.
They both got inside the car,and Alex drove off. Mira could see
that he was really angry with the way he's driving but she just kept
calm.
He drove to a strange place,the place looked like a dungeon. “
This is where we torture the people we kidnap,” Alex told her.
“Get ready for what's to come,” Alex told Mira. Mira's fangs are
already grown, Alex brought out his gun too. They are both ready
for what's to come.
As Alex opened the door,some men dressed in black suits came
at them,Mira and Alex didn't hesitate to attack them back.
Mira was fighting with her fangs while Alex was bringing them
down with his gun.
Alex's boss could hear the commotion going on outside and he
was also watching them from the CCTV footage.
“So your wife is a werewolf, let's see who leaves here alive,”
Alex's boss said, smiling sinisterly
Alex and Mira were able to bring them down ,Alex has a little
injury on his back likewise Mira too. Blood was oozing out from
her shoulder.
They were weak already from fighting those people but they have
to be strong for their son.
When they entered the main room,they saw their son being tied
up. His eyes closed, Mira panicked when she saw his eyes
closed.
She thought he was dead,then a voice came out from the same
room, “I gave him a little dose of sleeping pills so that he won't
witness his parent's death.
“Show yourself if you are confident,” Alex said.
“Here I am,” Alex's boss said, coming out of his hiding place
smiling dangerously.
“I knew you were behind this,” Alex said, feeling furious.
“What do you want?” He asked his boss.
“What I want is simple,come back to the organization or I will kill
you with my own hands,” his boss replied.
Mira was looking for a way to get to where her son is being tied
up as they were talking.
“After all that you did to me,do you still want me to come back to
the organization?” You are really a ruthless boss,” Alex told his
boss.
Alex saw that Mira was going towards their son,he had to
continue talking to distract his boss from her side.
“As you can see,I have a family to live with,I don't need you
anymore and as for the killing, let's see who died first,” Alex said.
Alex's boss was laughing like a maniac,while Mira was sending
signals to Alex that there's a bomb on their son.
Alex was dumbstruck, “why would a bomb be on their son?” he
was still thinking when his boss spoke.
“Do you think I will foolishly put your son there freely without any
strong back up,you still don't know me Alex,” he said.
Mira could no longer wait,she used her fangs to cut the wires of
the bomb,carry her son and was running outside.
Alex saw that she deactivated the bomb successfully and was
about to escort her outside when his boss brought out his gun and
shot him at his shoulder.
He cried in pain and Mira shouted his name, “Take our son to the
hospital,I will meet you there,” he told Mira.
Mira with her teary eyes and left him. She carried her son inside
the car and left.
Alex stood up and faced his boss. “Let's see who goes out of here
alive,” he said to his boss.
Meanwhile,Alex already prepared acid beforehand, he's always
carrying it with him wherever he's going.
As his boss was coming at him,he brought out the acid and
poured it on his face.
“Hahahah my face, somebody help me,” was all Alex's boss was
saying.
When Alex said that he couldn't see again,he took his gun and left
the place.
When Alex left,some people dressed in black suits came and
rescued Alex's boss.
These people are being directed by Alex boss wife. They took
Alex's boss to an uncompleted building where his wife has been
watching all the scenarios.
When they brought her husband, “ I told you that Alex is not a soft
meat,you never listened to me,see what you caused for yourself,”
she said talking to her husband.
“I told you to let's bring them down together,now your face is
damaged,” she said.
