What do you intend to do now?” She asked him.
“Let's stay low for a while,I need to get my face back,” he said.
“No problem,if that's what you want,” she answered him.
The men dressed in black suits carried him inside the car with his
wife and headed to a different hospital.
Mira arrived at the hospital and took her son to the nurse. She
explained his predicament to him and carried him in.
She was told to wait at the reception,after some minutes the
doctor called her.
“The sleeping pills your son took is too much, I'm afraid it will take
some days for him to wake up,” the doctor said.
Mira was so sad with what the doctor said but at least he's not
dead.
“Can I go inside his room now?” She asked the doctor.
“Sure,you can,” the doctor replied.
She thanked the doctor and left his office.
On her way to her son's room,she saw her husband at the
reception looking lifeless. She quickly rushed to him.
She called a nurse to attend to them and they did.
As they were taking him for inspection,he went into cardiac arrest.
The doctor came to meet her and said “he has lost so much blood
and we need to perform a surgery for him to remove the bullet in
his shoulder,” the doctor left after saying that.
Mira feels like her world is crumbling,her son and husband are in
the hospital. “I brought this upon myself,I should have just waited
for Alex before I left there,” she said to herself crying profusely.
After some hours,the doctor came to inform her that the surgery
was a success and her husband would wake up anytime soon.
She thanked the doctor and was heading to see her son first
before going to her husband's room.
When she got to her son's room,she saw him sleeping peacefully.
“My son, I'm so sorry to put you in this kind of situation,” she said
crying, “ I should have protected you with everything I have, I'm
really sorry please wake up soon,” she said this and kissed his
forehead.
She then left his room and went to her husband's room. When
she got there,her husband was already awake.
She rushed to him and hugged him, “I thought I lost you,” she
said, still crying
It's okay, I'm still here,” Alex said.
“How is our son fairing?” He asked her.
“He's not awake yet, the doctor said he took too many sleeping
pills,” she said with a shaky voice.
“He's going to wake up very soon, don't be bothered too much
about it,we are in this together,” Alex said assuring her.
She was just nodding with tears on her face to everything Alex
was saying.
Alex wanted her to stop thinking about their son and brought up
another topic. “Do you mind telling me about this werewolf side of
yours?”.
“I was afraid to tell you because I thought you might leave me if
you find out I'm a werewolf. My parents told me not to mingle with
humans but I couldn't resist you,” she said looking down.
“I was waiting for the right time to tell you but this incident made
you find out, I'm sorry for keeping it from you,” she said with a low
voice.
“It's fine as long as you aren't using it for a bad thing,but these
people already know you are a werewolf,they will come after you,”
he told her.
“No problem,as long as my son isn't involved, I'm ready for them,”
she said, managing to smile a little.
“I'm happy you came back for us,” she said, kissing him.
He smiled and kissed her back,the kiss was a passionate kiss.
They were still kissing when a nurse entered and told them she
wanted to administer some injection to him.
Mira excused herself,when she got outside Alex's room. She
could see all the nurses and doctors running .
She was wondering what happened,not knowing her son had
fallen into a coma. Would her son wake up in the next few
months?
