  Chase woke up with bruised eyes and an equally bruised heart. But this is the first time in a long time the bags under his eyes is not from tears of grief and anguish, but from a beautiful energy coursing through his body that didn’t let him sleep the entire night. His heart seems to be beating with a new enthusiasm, as if it was slumbering in the corner. Now it has a purpose to beat again and make him feel more alive.
