Hours later, the king decides to go in person to Vidégla’s house to speak to him in person. He leaves the palace alone, without any guards or assistant, but once arrived in front of the house of Vidégla, Attinkpon appears in his back and waits for the king outside. This is the plan that the two had made in advance. It would be unbelievable if the king went outside the palace without any eye on his person. When he arrives at Vidégla’s house in his long tunic, which is lying on the floor, he finds him sitting in his salon and greets him. Without even sitting down, he begins to talk about the reason for his arrival at Vidégla’s house. Vidégla doesn't invite him to sit down either, but leaves him standing without embarrassment:
