Chapter 25
I was panting hard. My chest was rising and falling as an attempt to catch my own breath. My eyes narrowed as I gazed down on my prey drinking a water from the river. I gritted my teeth. I was trying to watch this dear for a couple of minutes now, but each attempt I did, the dear always dodges me. I grew irritated but still determinated to catch it.
I just need some time... and patience.
I waited till the baby dear has already taken his guards down, and boom, I attacked him. A smirk made its own way to my lips as I drank his blood. Although, it is not as tasteful than humans, it was enough to satisfy my thirst.
